The grade contains iron, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and nitrogen, along with small amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. Density is 7.805 g/cm³. Melting point ranges from 1420 to 1465°C. Tensile strength reaches 690 MPa, and yield strength is 450 MPa, with 25% elongation and 30 HRC hardness.
Duplex Steel S32205 Pipes & Tubes are known for high strength, long service life, and strong resistance to pitting and crevice attack. The dual-phase structure helps reduce stress corrosion cracking in harsh environmental conditions. This grade performs well in chloride-rich and sour environments. We make sure to manufacture these pipes and tubes in accordance with ASTM A789 and A790 standards. The equivalent grade includes Duplex 2205, Werkstoff 1.4462, and UNS S32205.
